It’s finally time again! On November 30th, 2019 the Essen Motor Show will open its doors and together with our brands “KW suspensions” (booth 3B43) and “ST suspensions” (booth 3B37) we will display a real firework of novelties!

We have reinvented the coilover suspension: KW Variant 5

Compared to conventional coilover and sports suspensions in the original equipment industry and aftermarket, we rely on a solid piston (KW SolidPiston Technology) and modular damper valves connected in series (adjustable with 14 exact clicks independently in the low and high-speed damper forces of the compression and rebound stages).

Of course, the new KW Variant 5 in our “Street Performance” product range can also be adjusted to a stepless lowering.

The first sports car for which the new Variant 5 will be available, including a parts certificate, is the current Lamborghini Huracán – and more will follow. Our exhibition vehicle, by the way, is a Lamborghini refined to the limit by Novitec!

For every demand, the ideal suspension innovations – from “Street Comfort” to “Street Performance” to “Track Performance”.

In addition to our new KW Clubsport coilover suspension applications, we have massively expanded our range of professional motorsport dampers. For a long time now, we have been manufacturing our racing applications as homologated series developments for numerous GT3, GT4, TCR and Cup vehicles.

At the Essen Motor Show, we will present our new 5-way and 4-way adjustable motorsport dampers.

Made for Winners – we equip the champions!

This motorsport season, our customers were extremely successful! Besides winning the VLN championship by the Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport on the most demanding racetrack in the world: the Nürburgring Nordschleife, we are also happy about numerous other successes in various races and championships.

Particular, the victory of the FH Esslingen in the Formula Student, the 12h race in the Australian Bathurst, the 24h race Spa-Francorchamps and recently the Kyalami 9h race in South Africa by the Frikadelli-Racing-Team of Klaus Abbelen!

“Street Comfort” and “Street Performance”

While the KW Variant 5 is our absolute highlight for our “Street Performance” product range, we are also expanding our range for KW Variant 1, Variant 2, Variant 3 and Variant 4 applications.

Besides, more and more individually height-adjustable spring sets are appearing. In recent years, interest in electronically adjustable coilover suspensions has increased. Meanwhile, our KW DDC plug&play and KW DDC ECU coilovers are available for over 300 vehicle types.

But there is even more in Essen – for more and more SUVs we can offer our adaptive KW DDC plug&play coilovers. For example, we now have an electronically adjustable “Plug&Play solution” for the VW Tiguan II in our delivery range.

Every Saturday and Sunday Sidney Hoffmann has his autograph session at our booth (hall 3 booth 3B43) from 11 to 12 o’clock. If you miss it, you just have to turn around, because opposite the KW booth, Sid is exhibiting with his tuning label Sidney Industries as well!

But at “KW suspensions” in Hall 3 Stand 3B43 we will not only be presenting the right suspension for current vehicle models but also for more and more classic automobiles.

Tuning for the chassis: ST suspensions launches customizing program – learn all about it at our ST stand (3B37)

Whether from the factory or through the international accessories industry – there are hardly any limits to the customizing of an automobile. Whether wheels, brake calipers and the like, these components can be ordered in different colors and variants. From now on, this is also possible for suspension components.

At the Essen Motor Show 2019, ST suspensions is introducing a huge customizing program for our products. For a small surcharge, the mainsprings of the ST coilover suspensions and ST coilover springs can be ordered in individual color coatings. In addition to different colors, it is also possible to order the suspension springs with individual labeling.

Optional spring packages are also available for selected ST XTA coilover suspensions. These packages are particularly interesting for further customizing the suspension with shorter and tighter springs. The shorter springs do not have a parts certificate.

“ST Easy Fit” our new distance disc sets for “boring factory wheels”

Due to the numerous different bolt circle layouts, wheel hub diameters, etc., the search for the ideal wheel spacer is a very complex matter. The numerous optional series wheels of different automobile manufacturers also make the search for the suitable spacer disc in connection with the series tires a small challenge since the suitable spacer disc width must always be determined individually.

At the Essen Motor Show 2019, ST suspensions is introducing the vehicle-specific “Easy Fit” wheel spacer complete sets for series production wheels.

So, everyone knows immediately which spacer disc fits perfectly on which standard rim and, for example, you can be sure that you don’t have to work on the wheel arches when mounting the wheel spacers. All wheel spacer complete sets for standard wheels are delivered with a parts certificate and all components are checked in connection with the standard rims including the approved tire dimensions.
